Biography

Charles Tiedje (TJ), is a SAG-AFTRA and IATSE member. His first acting credit was "Chicago P.D.," and he has appeared in well over 40 television and film productions. He frequently plays police officers or heavies due to his background. However, his raw, vulnerable take on characters often surprises an audience. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force and retired as a First Sergeant. After high school, Charles joined the Police Department and continued as a Police Officer for over three decades. Charles later entered the entertainment industry as both an actor, military and police technical advisor, and crew member. When he's not in front of the camera, Charles works in the props department and as a weapons armorer. Charles has served as a military and police technical advisor on numerous productions.
