Nathan Shelton(II)

Nathan Shelton and his twin brother, Jeremy, were born in Springfield, MO, where Nathan began performing on stage as a child actor. He began working professionally in the early 1990s. He went on to study acting, screenwriting, & directing at Southwest/Missouri State University in the same prestigious BFA Theatre program that nourished the talents of John Goodman, Kathleen Turner, & many other remarkable performers and directors.

Aside from working as a professional stage, screen, & voice actor, Nathan is an award-winning SFX makeup artist, writer, & director/producer. In 2013 Nathan relocated to Chicago, IL, where he constantly develops various creative projects with his production company, Arthouse Asylum Productions (including the internationally acclaimed web series, Shadow Bound, and the horror anthology audio-drama series, Frightmare Theatre). Nathan continues to work throughout the country on a wide variety of creative endeavors and regularly offers private coaching services as well as teaching workshops in Acting, Screenwriting, Directing, and SFX Makeup Design. He has worked as a guest artist and faculty member with Northwestern University's long running and prestigious NHSI Film Institute (Cherubs) since 2014.

Nathan is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA and is represented by DDO Artist Agency-Chicago.
