- Has been in a relationship with Jack Ashton since April 2016, having met on the set of Call the Midwife (2012). Their respective characters, Nurse Trixie Franklin and Rev. Tom Hereward, were engaged in the fourth season of the series before calling it was called off. They began a real off-screen relationship while in South Africa filming Christmas Special (2016).
