Biography

In Suuronen’s documentary films societal turmoil is interwoven with the protagonist’s life. His storytelling style is a character-driven documentary incorporating cinematic montages and the protagonist’s inner thoughts. He has previously worked as a journalist for newspapers and as a director-writer and showrunner for several television programmes. Suuronen graduated with an MA from the Edinburgh College of Art at the University of Edinburgh in 2008.
