Noa is a writer and director exploring personal stories of trauma, identity, and social reality. In mid-2025, she founded Lemonade, a digital tribe for women survivors of sexual abuse or rape, fostering a community focused on collective healing. An English-language expansion is planned for 2026. Noa previously created the web series Toolkit for Rape Recovery, sharing her own recovery path - an initiative that led her to join the ROI Community.
An accomplished filmmaker, Noa has directed and produced 18 documentaries and a scripted short. Her documentary Oy Mama, which tells her grandmother's Holocaust story through a female lens, won Best Documentary at the Wiesbaden goEast Film Festival. Her dark comedy Mazal Tov explores Jewish identity and belonging, while other films examine the immigrant experience and domestic loss.
Since 2021, Noa has lived full-time on a sailing catamaran, homeschooling her children while cruising the Western Atlantic with plans to cross to the Pacific in 2027. She writes the regular Haaretz blog Noa of the Sea in the Family and Relationships section.
