- The Coral Reefer Band is the touring and recording band of American singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett. Originally it was a fictional band, just a figment of Buffett's imagination, consisting of the imaginary members Marvin Gardens, Kay Pasa, Al Vacado and Kitty Litter. But in 1975, Buffett put together a real band to back him. Members have come and gone, but the Coral Reefer Band will be around as long as Jimmy is.
