Biography

Jennifer is 4 x great grandchild of flamboyant French actor & opera singer, Claude Marius Duplany (Mons Marius). Claude married Florence St John - English singer & actress of the late Victorian and Edwardian era.

Jennifer was caught up in the Bali bombing in 2002, which killed 202 people.

In the early 1950's, the Alliston family bought an island off Tasmania called Three Hummock Island. Jennifer's great aunt, author Eleanor Alliston, wrote the novel, Escape to an Island; her romantic account of their island life. Her book was originally published by Penguin in 1966 followed by Eleanor's sequel, Island Affair, published in 1984.

Her great grandfather, Jack Lewis, was a professional boxer for the famous Jimmy Sharman Australian boxing troupe between 1911 & 1930.

Jennifer is related, by marriage to late actor Stanley Walpole.
