Biography

Jonathan Florez is a New York-based actor working across Off-Broadway theater and international film. He trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and was selected at age 19 for Telemundo/NBC’s actors workshop led by Oscar Nominee Adriana Barraza. His work spans stage and screen, with performances featured at festivals including Cannes and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

He has performed and developed work across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Latinamerica. In parallel to his acting career, he has worked as a photographer, contributing to his international production experience and visual approach to storytelling. Classically trained, he is drawn to roles of authority, intelligence, and moral ambiguity, and works in English and Spanish, with additional proficiency in German and performance experience in French and Portuguese.
