Antony Petrou is a talented Cypriot director renowned for his work in both feature-length and short films. A graduate of the Central St Martins School of Art, he honed his skills in the visual arts. Additionally, he holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from NYFA, where he further refined his cinematic craft.

Antony's debut, "We Are Monster," garnered critical acclaim for its portrayal of the racially motivated murder of Zahid Mubarek. The film was released in cinemas in the United Kingdom and the United States and later acquired by Netflix for distribution. The success of "We Are Monster" established Antony as an emerging talent in the industry, and his subsequent works continued to receive praise from critics.

Antony's short films have been official selections at over 200 international film festivals, showcasing his versatility and flexibility as a filmmaker.
