Originally from Montréal, Mélanie is an award-winning bilingual actor and producer. She is known for her
roles in ROSIE, Blood Lines, Year of the Carnivore, Rain Down, The L Word and Psych. She is the co-producer of watermarked, Assini, Rosie (short film) and ROSIE (feature).
Mélanie has also worked as a casting director in B.C. and Ontario. She was nominated alongside John Buchan and Jason Knight for Achievement in Casting at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards for the feature film ROSIE (Canada's TIFF Top Ten 2022).
Mélanie is passionate about films featuring strong female leads, and challenging and subverting stereotypes through storytelling and casting choices.
