Joanna Stone(II)

Joanna wrapped two films in 2025 after returning to acting from being a professional dancer. Films, Vigilance and You Must Be Rachel are in post production, premiering in 2026. Joanna has a BA in Theater and Dance from University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Dance from Texas Woman's University plus a graduate certificate in Women's Studies. Seen in FROLIC, an immersive theater play for younger audiences who are neurodiverse or who have developmental disabilities. Joanna herself is dyslexic and interested in continuing making work for and with neurodiverse individuals. She was the lead in the premiere of Crazy Love at American Theater for Actors. Arts Independent said of her performance, "Stone's Flair for physical comedy is astounding." Joanna is also a professional dancer. She performed with the award winning company, Contradanza, in Mexico City, and toured internationally before returning to the US. Joanna speaks fluent Spanish. In both the United States and Mexico she works as a print and commercial actor. In the US she has worked with LEIMAY, Universal Studios, Rosanna Gamson World Wide, and most recently Dance to the People. Joanna was the host of the LIVE Warner Brother KIDS show and has performed as a stilt walker all over Los Angeles and Mexico, and practices improvisation in both dance and acting. She founded her own Barre Fitness method and company, Barre Vida.
