Lester Sill was married to Harriet Sill. He died on October 31, 1994 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Founded, with Phil Spector, Philles Records.

After a falling-out with Philles Records co-owner Phil Spector, Sill left the label and went to work as head of Colpix Records.
