Was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Although her grandfather Carlos Robson Gracie is a ninth degree red belt in Gracie jiu-jitsu (the equivalent of a black belt in other styles), and all her uncles are black belts, she received her black belt from her great-uncle Carlos Gracie, Jr.

For several years lived in the United States, but since 2009, only lives 6 months out of the year in the country in order to maintain her U.S. green card.

She is the second female member of the Gracie family to earn a black belt (her great-aunt Karla Gracie was the first), but is the first to actively compete in jiu-jitsu.

Is a first cousin-twice removed of professional fighter Royce Gracie.

Her father's last name is Guimaraes, but goes professionally by her mother Flavia Gracie's maiden name.

Has four younger half-siblings.

Is the niece of mixed martial arts fighters, Charles, Renzo, Ralph, and the late Ryan Gracie.

Is a second degree black belt in Gracie jiu-jitsu.

His great-grandfather Carlos Gracie created Gracie or Brazilian jiu-jitsu after having learned Kodokan judo from Japanese judoka Mitsuyo Maeda.

She is expecting her third child.(2020).

Her daughters Ayra has been born 09/08/2014 and Sofia 10/21/2016.

She gave birth to a boy named Rayan.(01/09/2020).
