Kaplow teaches film studies and English at Summit High School in Summit, New Jersey. His novel 'Me and Orson Welles' was a New York Times best seller. He is retiring after 34 years of teaching. He enjoys reading and writing in his spare times and contributed to the award-winning Summit High School magazine, The Verve.
