Kevin Reyes was born in Freeport, Texas and was raised in a
multi-cultural family. Love for the arts began at an early age, when he
would put on a one-man show for his family. His cousin would operate
the lights; a flashlight at the top of the stairs. Admission was
whatever change you had in your pockets.
In an effort to keep him out of trouble, his mother encouraged him to take a theatre class in junior high. Kevin had a blast and continued to study theatre in high school and to his mother's dismay continued getting into trouble. After high school he auditioned and was accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. There he attended the Full Time Professional Training Program. Kevin also studied screenwriting at Rice University and UCLA.
He is drawn to the art of acting because of its sincerity to human behavior. What he loves most about the craft is the work, whether doing research or working on set. Kevin's motivation is ignited by a commitment to deliver the truth of the story.
