Eddie Mediavillo is known for Forward March (1987), Agaw armas (1986) and Somewhere (1984).

Played by Fernando Poe Jr. in two movies and Anthony Alonzo in one movie. Fernando Poe Jr. starred in Ang Pangalan: Mediavillo (1974) and Patayin si ... Mediavillo (1978). Anthony Alonzo in Irampa si Mediavillo (1990), three years after his death in an ambush claimed by the communist group.

Killed on October 28, 1987, in an attack staged by the communist New People' Army. He was shot and killed by three gunmen as he waited at about 7:30 a.m. in his jeep at an intersection in Manila's Tondo neighborhood. He was then a deputy commander of a Manila district police station.
