- An alternative/punk rock group from Chicago, Illinois.
- Current members include Tim McIlrath (vocals, guitar), Joe Principe (bass guitar), Brandon Barnes (drums), and Zach Blair (guitar). Past members include Toni Tintari (drums), Mr. Precision (guitar), Todd Mohney (guitar) and Chris Chasse (guitar).
- (As of 2008) Released five albums to date. The band released its debut album "The Unraveling" in 2001, but did not experience commercial success until the 2004 release of their major label debut "Siren Song of the Counter Culture", which debuted at number 136 on the Billboard 200.
- On tour supporting their new album "Appeal to Reason".
- In the studio with Bill Stevenson (of ALL/Descendents and Black Flag fame) and Jason Livermore recording their follow-up to 2006's "The Sufferer & the Witness".
