Stefanie Heinzmann was born on March 10, 1989 in Eyholz, Vallais, Switzerland. She is a music artist and actress, known for Stefanie Heinzmann: In the End (2015), WIER: Best of Us (2020) and Peter Maffay & Stefanie Heinzmann: Königreich der Liebe (2022).

[My looks were] very beneficial [for my career]. When I was discovered at age 18, I did not correspond to the typical ideal of beauty. Back then, there was no emo-looking female soul singer yet.

[asked about the worst fashion item she has ever worn] Oh well, I have worn so many terrible clothes in my life already. I have to be comfortable in my clothes while I am wearing them. When it comes to what I think about my outfit a week or a month later, I don't care about that. [laughs]

[on starting a family] It is a wish but I won't let myself get stressed by it. As a musician, I am traveling around extremely much at the moment and so a pregnancy is not planned. Of course, it can always happen. But at the moment, I enjoy the togetherness with only my boyfriend.

[asked about the most beautiful woman she was ever compared to] I was compared to Joss Stone. In my opinion the British soul singer has one of the best voices in the world. So the comparison was totally flattering. Even though I think our voices are not similar at all.
