Mini bio

  • Eric is a classically trained, award winning, and critically acclaimed American actor, director and producer with a growing fan base.

Eric was raised between his hometown in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles California and has worked extensively in Arizona where he has been headquartered for many years. Eric's actor parents exposed him to the art they loved so much at a very early age, and so began a lifelong love affair with performing. As early as 6 years old Eric beg his father to work on work on favorites like William Shakespeare's Hamlet with him, while fencing in Roxbury Park in Los Angeles with plastic rapiers. Eric subsequently studied with and was mentored by a number of other luminaries in the arts of film and theater acting, voice acting, and filmmaking and found that he also had an aptitude for producing and directing. He began performing as a child actor and model and has continued to pursue his career doggedly.

As an actor, Eric is best known for deep character work. Eric is skilled in comedy and drama alike and is ever seeking that next great project with a beautiful story. He is also a strong believer in supporting other artists and important causes and frequently mentors others as he has been mentored.

Eric spent several years largely devoted to stage work, playing a number of challenging leading roles in works such as "The Last Days of Judas Iscarriott" (El Fayoumy), "The Subject was Roses" (Timmy Cleary) "Don't Talk to the Actors" (Jerry Przpezniak), "Moon over Buffalo" (Paul Singer), and "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" (Joe Facrus) and Eric also spent many years studying eastern martial arts under master instructors, and eventually teaching himself for several years. Eventually he became fascinated with the direction the film industry was taking and began to focus most of his efforts as an actor on film and TV and multimedia.

Eric has had the opportunity to do some very exciting work in western films, being one of only a handful of actors to have played both Wyatt Earp (FOX TV's Legends and Lies, the real West) and Doc Holliday (ALex Cox's Tombstone Rashomon) in nationally publicized productions.

Additionally Eric has played a variety of diverse and often quirky film/multimedia roles roles in various genres which have led to the development of a supportive fan base. Roles such as: pompous newscaster Frank Mann in the ground breaking, early web comedy "Crewing Up" by Fried Egg Films, LLC; secret service Agent David Killjoy in the widely acclaimed sci-fi web-series "Zhon: The Alien Interviews" which he also co-produced, Comic book store owner John Burns in the latter Comic Book Diaries geek culture comedy film series (including the most recent film "Revenge of Zoe"), among many others.

Eric is a partner and the creative director for multi award winning production company Seelie Studios, LLC, (best known for the unprecedented 13 season branded comedy series "The Bob and Angus Show", "The White Glove Movies"), under which the bulk of his producing work is done

Always looking for ways to support his fellow artists, Eric is former President of the Board of Directors of the nonprofit Independent Film Association of Southern Arizona (ow called "IFA), frequently lecturers at comi-cons, science fiction conventions and film festivals and is frequently quoted in the media regarding his thoughts and expertise in the film industry, the effect of multimedia on the economy and on how to manage life as an artist.
