Biography

Julia Obst is a German Brazilian actor and director based in Paris. She has been involved in the performing arts from early childhood, from ballet lessons at age 3, to becoming a familiar face on German television for two decades. Starting off as an award-winning child performer on Mini Playback shows, Julia continued on to play Jenny, the adopted daughter on "Die Fallers" (SWR, 2004-present), Germany's longest-running family drama. Other stops along the way include "Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein?" (Sat.1, 2011), "Um Himmels Willen" (ARD, 2012), "Cold Meat" (2020), "The Food on the Table" (2023) and "Marter" (2025).
