- Roze Stiebra was born on March 17, 1942 in Riga, Ostland [now Latvia]. Roze was a director and writer, known for Ness un Nesija: pêc Vika pasakas motiviem (1991), In My Pocket (1983) and Looking for the Northern Daughter (1980). Roze was married to Ansis Berzins. Roze died on December 22, 2024 in Latvia.

- The artist received the Spidola Award for her contribution to Latvian animated cinema. In 2003, she was awarded the Order of the Three Stars, IV class.
