Barika Phillips Bell is an NAACP Image Award-nominated producer, writer, author, and actor with a focus on character-driven, high-concept genre material.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Fisk University with a dual degree in Psychology and Theater, Barika's work is informed by a deep understanding of human behavior and dramatic structure. This unique foundation is evident in her producing work, where her film "James & Joseph" earned an NAACP Image Award nomination, and in her extensive acting career, which includes roles alongside Lynn Whitfield and Brian White in "And Then There Was You," and the Lifetime movie "Maternal Instincts."

She is now channeling her comprehensive industry experience into writing and developing projects for film and television. Her current flagship project is the speculative thriller series, MIRROR HOUSE, which explores the terrifying intersection of AI, influencer culture, and digital identity.
