Tara Holt is an American actress born and raised in Newport Beach, California. She studied at the Orange County High School of the Arts before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
Holt appeared opposite Kristen Stewart in the Sundance drama Camp X-Ray and joined the final season of Showtime’s Californication in the recurring role of Melanie, opposite Michael Imperioli. Her performance in The Algerian earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Feature Film at the Northeast Film Festival.
She later starred as Madison in the horror film Darkness Rising and as Sandrene in the independent comedy Tankhouse, alongside Christopher Lloyd, Richard Kind, Joey Lauren Adams and Andy Buckley. More recently, Holt has appeared in the Chuck Lorre-produced comedy series Bookie and the J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan series Duster.
