Attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, from which he received his B.A. in 2004.

Used to work for Sony Pictures.

Mother is Caucasian, father is Mexican.

Has a younger brother, Nick, and an older half brother and half sister.

Graduated second in his class from Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television in 2004.
