Twinkle was born on July 15, 1948 in Surbiton, Surrey, England, UK. She was married to Graham Rogers. She died on May 21, 2015 in Godshill, Isle of Wight, England, UK.

Singer who had a hit in 1964 with her self-penned song "Terry" which she wrote at the age of 14 to while away a dull French lesson at school. Her brother's daughter is the actress Fay Ripley.

Aunt-in-law of Daniel Lapaine.

Introduced to show-business by her then boyfriend Dec Cluskey of The Bachelors singing group. Her second hit "Golden Lights" was written about Cluskey, painting him in a less than flattering light.

She was at Queens Gate School with Camilla Shand (later Queen Camilla) and Adrienne Posta.
