Biography

Andrew English is a producer and director based in Brooklyn, New York. He started his career on sets in Melbourne, Australia, working across commercial productions including a large-scale Virgin Airlines shoot that sparked a passion for visual storytelling. From there he travelled to Colombia as a video journalist on a travel documentary before relocating to Berlin, where he produced two short films and worked across numerous productions. His experiences as a video journalist in the field inspired Real Soldiers, his award-winning short film. Always navigating the line between directing and producing, English has built a career that lives in both worlds. His work spans brand campaigns for Sergio Tacchini, Dulux, and NIO, and original television development including Together Time, a preschool series developed after the birth of his two children. He operates through his production studio Gos4 / Gosfilms LLC and is based in Brooklyn, New York with his family.
