Biography

Kozikowski grew up in northern New Mexico and moved to the Bay Area where wrote and produced promotional materials for investigative reports and worked with Don Hewitt of 60 Minutes at CBS5, San Francisco. He received a Rocky Mountain Emmy and later a Northern California Emmy, for a series of reports following 911. He moved to Albuquerque as the state began leveraging film incentives and established a boutique media company Blur to Focus Productions in 2008 and later BonfireConnect LLC, for licensing, publishing & business development. He recently joined forces with executive producer, Kenneth Knoll, Turquoise Trail Releasing, who negotiated distribution for his debut film, a 16-minute thriller about the dark side of the film industry. Now, Wild Horses, on rotation in over forty-three million homes in more than fifty countries, can be seen on London based, ShortsHD via DirecTV & Comcast Channel 573, in the USA & Europe. In 2015 Kozikowski began working with Robin Gurney at Showtime Network to develop a TV series about an Italian crime boss obsessed with cooking. In 2017 he began developing a film about a runaway companion robot, hacked by a Sandia Labs programmer, which makes her think she is human and ultimately goes against the laws of robotics.
