Multi-Award winning Director, Steve Rahaman was born on the Caribbean
Islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Upon moving to New
York, he spent his early childhood years in Brooklyn, but now resides
in Long Island, NY.
Steve is the co-founder of Rahaman Studios Limited LLC and Falling Leaves Productions LLP, companies through which he has produced and distributed numerous independent film projects. His films explore crime, drama, action, suspense, and human conflict, frequently focusing on characters confronted by difficult choices, adversity, loyalty, redemption, and the consequences of their actions. Among his most recognized films is the award-winning To Be King, a dramatic story about a struggling boxer who must overcome tremendous adversity in his pursuit of redemption and success.
