Biography

Shaughnessy Redden is an award-nominated actor known for bringing depth and nuance to complex, often conflicted characters - especially those with a darker edge. Equally at home on stage and on screen, he has a natural ability to ground even the most unpredictable roles with honesty and presence. Trained at the William Esper Studio in New York, he brings a strong foundation and a collaborative spirit to every project.

His recent work includes lead roles in the newly released series Blue Skies on UpTv, Creepshow (Shudder) and Mixed Baggage (Bar None) as well as standout recurring and guest star appearances in CBS’s Watson, AMC's The Terror, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Apple+ Home Before Dark. He's also made an impact in independent film, with supporting leads in All-In Madonna and the festival-winning Open for Submissions as well as the lead in multiple award winning Spermatozoon. Look for his supporting lead role in the crime thriller movie Laughing Man coming out on A-24 this fall.
