Biography

Emma Eliza Regan was born in Moycullen, County Galway, Ireland. She is an actress and director, known for Darkness on the Edge of Town (2014), Death of a Superhero (2011) and Der Irland-Krimi (2019).

Trained in ballet dance with Alan Foley at Cork City Ballet, where she was awarded a distinction in dance examinations.

Ivan Kavanagh wrote the role of Cathy in The Fading Light specifically for her after working with her previously. It went on to win Best Film at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival 2010 and was Critics Circle Choice Best Irish Film, as well as The Irish Times 'Best Moments Of Irish Film' 2010.

She has a recorded IQ of 140.

I am fascinated with the occult and it was a really interesting role, it's good for an actress to discover the path of someone else and try and learn from somebody who went before you
