Reese Eveneshen is a writer, director, and producer known for his distinct voice in genre cinema, blending visceral storytelling with relentless energy. His latest producing credit, She Was Here (Virgil Films), a haunting exploration of the life and mysterious death of Poltergeist star Heather O’Rourke, became one of his most acclaimed projects to date, earning strong critical and audience reception and ranking among the top digital rentals in North America upon release. Eveneshen broke out with the 2021 action-thriller For the Sake of Vicious (Dread Pictures), a Shudder Exclusive that earned international acclaim and electrified audiences at major festivals including Fantasia, Sitges, FrightFest, Telluride Horror Show, and BIFAN. He also wrote the award winning drama Home Free (Indiecan Entertainment), and previously wrote and directed the sci-fi thriller Defective (eOne / Uncorked Entertainment).
