Biography

Marta Leite de Castro was born on April 7, 1979 in Porto, Portugal. She is an actress, known for Julgamento (2007), Voo Directo (2010) and Vila Faia (2008). She was previously married to Pedro Bartolomeu Santos Matos Perestrelo Pinto.

Mother, with her first known ex-partner Leonel Vieira, of a daughter named Emília "Mia" Leite de Castro Vieira (b. 2006).

Mother, with her last known partner and now civil marriage husband, of a daughter named Caetana Leite de Castro Perestrelo Pinto (b. Lisbon, 30 November 2013), conceived three months and a half before her parents's civil marriage.

Graduated as a Licenciate in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, Honorary-Member of the Ancient, Most Noble and Enlightened Military Order of Saint James of the Sword, of the Scientific, Literary and Artistic Merit, and graduated as a Licenciate in Sound and Image from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University Fernando Pessoa, she became a Television Presenter.

Married in an informal civil ceremony in a balcony of the Parish of Lapa, in the Municipality of Lisbon, to then Chief of Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, great-great-great-grandson of a brother of the 1st Viscount of São Torquato Nobleman of Coat of Arms (timber) of Perestrelo with crown of Viscount, and great-great-great-great-grandson of the 3rd Marquess (before Count) of Castelo Melhor Nobleman of Coat of Arms of de Vasconcelos (timber), de Sousa of the Lords of Arronches, Caminha, da Câmara, de Faro and da Veiga with crown of Marquess (before Count) and 7th Count of a Calheta de juro e herdade Nobleman of Coat of Arms of da Câmara (timber) with crown of Count, of the 1st Viscount of São Salvador de Campos, of the 13th Lord and 1st Conde of Murça Nobleman of Coat of Arms of Guedes (timber) with crown of Count and of the 6th Countess of Óbidos Noblewoman of Coat of Arms of da Costa (without timber) with crown of Countess, 7th Countess of a Palma Noblewoman of Coat of Arms of Mascarenhas (without timber) with crown of Countess and 6th Countess of o Sabugal Noblewoman of Coat of Arms of de Castelo-Branco (without timber) with crown of Countess.

Daughter of José Luís Alves, a Brazilian from Rio de Janeiro, and paternal granddaughter of Joaquim Alves, who worked in the Commerce and was connected to Mecenate, she adopted the surnames of her late Portuguese mother. Has one brother, Nuno Leite de Castro Alves.
