Rashami Desai, born as Shivani Desai in Nagaon, Assam, India, is a versatile Indian television and film actress known for her dynamic performances in popular shows and films. Widely recognized for her portrayal of Tapasya in the acclaimed TV series "Uttaran," Rashami has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.

Rashami's journey in the world of acting began at a young age, and she made her debut in the Assamese film "Kanyadaan" at the age of 16. A proficient classical dancer, Rashami's passion for the arts led her to Mumbai's Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, where she pursued a diploma in education.

Her breakthrough moment came with the Zee TV serial "Raavan," followed by the immensely popular "Uttaran," where she played the pivotal role of Tapasya for four years. This role not only showcased her acting prowess but also earned her a significant place in the hearts of the audience.
