Persia Monir

Persia Monir was born Karen Hale on September 27, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her father is from Iran and her mother is Anglo-American. In the early 1960s, she moved with her family to Memphis, Tennessee, where she developed her passion for dance and art and performed in the theatre. She is an also an ardent golfer and took part in the 16th Annual Ladies Invitational PAWS on the Green Golf Tournament.
At age 19, Persia married a drummer she met during the performance of the musical Kiss Me Kate and gave birth to a son. Shortly afterwards, she left the entertainment industry and enrolled in the Nursing School. After graduating, she worked as a critical care nurse for 15 years. After Persia and her husband divorced in 1988, she moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida with her son.
To supplement her income as a nurse, she started looking for other jobs, and became a stripper. In 1997, Persia opened her first website "Persian Palace". For seven years, she developed web content as a softcore actress.
At age 46, she appeared in porn magazines and shot her first hardcore scenes under several aliases such as Persia Minor, Persia, Persia Munir, Jemileh, and Persia Noir.
She wrote a book with short stories about the time when she worked as a stripper and has worked on writing her full biography.
