Biography

Vilan Trub, born to an immigrant family from the Soviet Union, grew up in the movie theater-lined neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens. He started his career at 18 working on hip hop music videos and films for 50 Cent. His previous work has been showcased at the historic Anthology Film Archives in NYC as part of their esteemed NewFilmmakers series.
