Daoud Heidami is a New York City based actor whose stage and screen career spans nearly two decades, from an Off Broadway debut to a run on Broadway and recurring guest roles across network television.
Born in Bethlehem and raised in Texas from early childhood, Daoud went on to earn a Master's Degree from the University of California, San Diego. He made his Broadway debut in Rajiv Joseph's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, a 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist for Drama, understudying multiple roles opposite Robin Williams in the original 2011 production. His stage credits also include Off-Broadway runs at New York Theatre Workshop (Aftermath), Second Stage Theatre (American Hero), and Manhattan Theatre Club (Ripcord), among others.
Onscreen, Daoud is perhaps best known for Nasi in You Don't Mess with the Zohan. His film work also includes Aaron Sorkin's Molly's Game, Jodie Foster's Money Monster, Kitty Green's The Assistant, and Boaz Yakin's Safe, alongside a run of television guest and recurring roles on series including The Equalizer, FBI, Bull, NCIS: New Orleans, The Blacklist, Younger, The Path, and the original Law & Order.
Fluent in both English and Arabic, Daoud has traveled and lived abroad extensively before settling in New York City, where he now lives.
