She is known for portraying Raviva on the 2012 MTV series Underemployed, Vee on the 2014 Fox television series Gang Related, and Sheba on the Fox series Prison Break. Lavi starred in the 2017-2018 Bravo television series Imposters, and played Eve in the final three seasons of the Netflix series Lucifer.

- Her first name Inbar means Amber in Hebrew.
- She studied Ballet and Modern Dance at the Kiryat Sharet School of Arts, and then went on to study at The Sofi Moskowitz School of Acting in Tel Aviv to focus on Method Acting and the Stanislavski technique. She then moved to New York at 17 to model and act, stayed there for about 8 months, then moved to Los Angeles.
