Biography

Thomas La Barbera Christensen is a Danish-born actor and artist based in Los Angeles. A true linguist and performer, he has mastered the American accent and is fluent in several European languages - including Danish, German, Italian and Swedish, - allowing him to embody a wide range of international characters with authenticity and nuance.

Most recently, Thomas wrapped filming on the action-comedy The Wrong Girls, where he plays the villain, Axel, in a high-energy chase across Los Angeles alongside Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat. He has collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher and appeared in well-known television series such as General Hospital, Don't Trust the B- in Apartment 23, and CBS's 9JKL, among other notable projects. His one person show, The Divine Teat, featuring him as German life coach Jürgen Liebedich earned enthusiastic reviews during its run at the LA Fringe Festival. Thomas's commercial credits include campaigns for top-tier brands like Cadillac, TIMM, and Levi's.

Before focusing on acting full-time, he was the lead singer of Danish band Ploy and performed at Store Vega in Copenhagen. Thomas built a successful modeling career, walking the runway for prestigious fashion houses including Etro, Versace, Gianfranco Ferré, and Cerruti while pursuing his passion for design at Milan's esteemed Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.
