  • Roy Head b.January 1,1941, Three Rivers, Texas and The Traits are listed among the 200 Greatest Rock N Roll Artitsts of the 1960s, and "Treat Her Right "(1965) one of the greatest rock n roll records ever recorded, by Record Collector Magazine. Roy has recorded songs in a variety of styles: rockabilly, psychedelic, and blue eyed soul. His solo performance of "Treat Her Right" in the sixties seen on "American Bandstand" and "Shindig " was both captivating and innovative. Falling to the floor with "contortion like gestures ", put him in a class with but not against James Brown. Roy has hit the US Country Chart 24 times with such hits as "The Most Wanted Woman in Town "(1975) and "Come To Me "(1981). He Is a member of The Gulf Coast Music Hall Of Fame as well as the Texas Country and Western Music Hall Of Fame. Roy Head and The Traits are members of The International Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.
