  • Carlos Del Olmo was born on May 24, 1966 in Hollywood, California. Born to Cuban American immigrants, Carlos's parents fled to the United States to escape Fidel Castro's communist revolution.

Carlos moved to Miami at age 15 where at Miami Sunset Senior High School he excelled in sports and became quite good at surfing. Entering the Professional Surfing Circuit at age 18, Carlos traveled the world winning two Masters Championships whilst pursuing his acting and modeling career appearing in campaigns such as Hugo Boss, Versace, Calvin Klein, and J Crew. In addition, several surfing industry giants such as Body Glove International, Lost Enterprises, Vans International and Katen International sponsored Carlos.

From there, he traveled back home to Hollywood to make his mark in movie-stardom. Carlos has guest starred on prime time television hits such as ABC's "Alias", NBC's "Suddenly Susan" and HBO's "Arlis" and has starred on Spanish TV hits like "Charlie's Angels".

A recognizable bi-lingual television host in the extreme action sports industry, Carlos has hosted several of his own shows including, "Surf the Planet", "54321" among others on both ESPN and the Fox Sports Network. Carlos still competes and hosts surfing events around the world and is currently part of the elite Quicksilver surfing team.
