  • Janine Scalise is a seasoned music executive with deep knowledge in music supervision working with top tier talent across a diverse range of multimedia productions. She founded Moxie Music Supervision as a full-service company, offering expertise in both the creative and business aspects of merging music with visual media.

    Throughout her career, Janine has combined her creative instincts with her business acumen, making her a standout figure in the world of music supervision. She has worked on high-profile projects, including the TV Series, The L WORD: Generation Q for Showtime, Twisted Metal for Peacock, Better Things for FX and feature films including The 4:30 Movie (written and directed by Kevin Smith), as well as the upcoming films, Riff Raff, and Paradise Records (written and directed by Logic). Prior to launching Moxie Music, she spent 15 years at Starz Networks, where she built the music department spearheading the formation of its music publishing arm. She served as the sole in-house music supervisor across the TV division, as well as Marketing and PR. Her work spanned strategic licensing negotiations, sourcing music for campaign's and in show use, curated original songs, and managing label and publishing relations across the network and studio. She has collaborated with renowned talent, commissioning original songs from artists like 50 Cent (Power), Nick Cave (Black Sails), and Karen O (Flesh & Bone).

    Janine's passion for music led her to an internship at a classic rock radio station (WBAB, 102.3FM, Long Island) in high school.
