Jason O. Silva is a commercial and narrative director and writer based in Los Angeles. His cinematic eye and emphasis on actor-driven narrative drive his unique style and perspective. His obsessions are unlikely friendships and unusual stories.
His first feature film, Lonely Hearts Club, premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival's Independent Filmmaker Showcase, where he won the Vanguard Award for breakthrough director. The film was also nominated for "Best Of" with NewFilmmakersLA.
His award-winning short films have screened at dozens of film festivals, including Cannes, Dances with Films, and the Newport Beach Film Festival. For television, he was the series director for Lifetime's 1-hr drama Crazy Love (now on Hulu). He is also the author of the multiple award-winning dark fantasy series The Tale of Edgar Trunk.
