Aaron Conte

Aaron Conte is a founding member and the original drummer of alt-rock darlings Nada Surf (Modern Rock Top 10, 1996). He has also played drums with The Citizens Band, a New York City vaudevillian politico-cabaret that features other performers Ian Buchanan, Rain Phoenix, Karen Elson, Craig Wedren and Nina Persson, and is a lifetime member of Beedies; a band started during the starving time in New York with then roommates Justin Kirk and Dallas Roberts. He is an in-active ensemble member of The Actors Gang in Culver City, CA and has worked with two Academy Award winners; Tim Robbins (on stage) and Anna Paquin (on screen). A proud central New Yorker, he was born and raised in Utica, NY and attended the prestigious conservatory training program at S.U.N.Y. Purchase.
