Biography

Owen directed and executive produced the pilot plus four episodes of 'Mrs Davis' for Peacock/ WBTV. Owen won the Emmy for Outstanding Made for Television Movie for Black Mirror's "San Junipero," which remains one of the most beloved and critically acclaimed episodes of the Black Mirror series, collecting two Emmy Awards, two BAFTA Awards, and more. Owen also directed the Black Mirror episodes "Be Right Back" and "Striking Vipers". He directed the lead episodes and was an executive producer on 'Brave New World' for Amblin and NBCU which went out on Peacock. He has directed episodes of the BAFTA winning 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl', and 'Misfits' and also the TV movie 'Holy Flying Circus', which won the Broadcast Award for Best Original Programme. In 2015 he made his feature film debut with 'Kill Your Friends', which premiered at TIFF starring Nick Hoult and James Corden.
