Salvatore Di Costanzo was born June 13th, 1967 into a Sicilian family of four children from Valguarnera (Caropepe), Province of Enna (Sicily). He grew up in both Sicily and France and is fluent in five languages. He received all of his scholastic education in France, graduating with a passion for Art, Philosophy, Italian, French Literature and Foreign Languages. Salvatore attended Clown School at an early age and later on kept developing a strong interest in Theater and its techniques, which he studied during Middle School, High School and College. About to enroll into the Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris, France, he opted instead to pursue an International Business School degree in Paris, France, "Weller", with an MBA program at Lincoln University in San Francisco, CA. He nonetheless kept studying Poetry, Theater and Writing techniques independently in Paris with a particular interest in all of Moliere and Luigi Pirandello's magical abilities to turn psychological analysis into powerful theater. Not only has he been an avid reader, he also learned at an early age the 3D sculpture techniques of 5,000 years ago. In 1991, he graduated from "Weller" in Paris and shortly afterwards moved to Los Angeles, California. Today, he owns and runs a Film Production Company as well as writes and directs his own films. He has successfully written, produced and directed several films such as "Lucky Clown," which premiered in both the Cannes Film Festival in France and the Venice Film Festival in Italy in 2007, "The Crying Museum" in 2009 (Premiered in Cannes), and "The Abandoned Circus" in 2012. He also co-wrote, produced and starred in a 2019 independent feature film, yet to be released, titled " CAR 24", a modern contemporary dramatic suspense action thriller . He has presently several Directorial projects under development such as "Lazarus", which stars and was co-written with Andy Davoli, about a down-an-out basketball star who gets a second chance to go pro, 13 years after being cheated out of his dream to play in the NBA, "A...men", the last chapter of his Lucky Clown's saga, and "United", an epic true story about the Sicilian bandit Salvatore Giuliano's 1950 escape attempt from the Sicilian Mafia "Cosa Nostra" and the Italian government to the United States of America.
