David Barroso (also known as David Barroso Jr.) is a New York-born actor known for his work starting in theater in film and television. Raised in Astoria, Queens, he trained extensively at H.B. Studios, the Actors Studio, and NYU master classes before launching his professional acting career. He made his television debut on Law & Order and later appeared on Law & Order: SVU. David has also got to work with director Dito Montiel and has been involved in multiple independent film projects. In addition to acting, he dabs in some writing and as a producer for the first time, currently developing new projects. David currently resides in New York City. has lived and worked in Los Angelrs and New York City.

Studied with some notable acting teachers William Hickey, Carol Morley, Kathryn Rossetter, Thomas G. Waites and continues to look for great notable teachers to study with.
Trained for several of years in acting before ever going on a audition.
Won the Mr. East Coast in Bodybuilding.
Director/Writer Dito Montiel and David Barroso Grew up 2 blocks away from each other growing up with the same people Nerf and Jenny and David and Dito still talk too each other today.
Wanted to be a biker when he was 15 years old, growing up with an older buddy who had a lot of tattoos and always reading Easy Rider magazine. Then went on from different jobs like delivering gold undercover in the diamond district to working on 42nd street, NYC to winning 12 Bodybuilding trophies and doing the National bodybuilding championships every year, to ending up on Wall Street as an Investment banker and Institutional broker, and then a playing inthe United Football league for 7yrs while on Wall street . BUt always love acting and starting at classes at 18 yrs old study for 3 to 6yrs before even auditioning.
