Biography

Angela Burns is from Austin, Texas. Burns developed an interest in acting at a young age, and began playing drums in a band with her older sisters. Burns has appeared in several national commercials (e.g. McDonalds, Sprint, Nickelodeon).

An anomaly from childhood, Burns began working behind the scenes as a teenager-serving as a casting director and managing extras and principal casting on multiple television shows and films. Her early credits include Richard Linklater's Boyhood in Austin, followed by projects in Los Angeles such as Sony's The Fifth Wave and Disney Channel's Girl Meets World.

Today, Burns divides her time between Los Angeles and Austin, focusing on her creative pursuits. She has added another performance medium to her repertoire - aerial arts - which she now integrates into her broader artistic work.
