Biography

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sabrina Fidalgo is an acclaimed director and screenwriter whose work has earned numerous awards and international recognition. She was named by the American publication Bustle as one of the "Female Filmmakers Across the Globe Who Are Breaking Ground in Their Own Country," ranking eighth on the list. Her recent films, Rainha and Alfazema, have received more than 50 awards combined. Her upcoming projects include her first two feature films: the documentary The Project and the drama Karnaval, both produced by Gullane. She is also developing the feature comedy Close Up.
