Scott Timmins

Mini bio

  • Mr. Timmins collaborated with Lipeng Zhang on the script of 2011's "The Resistance", a war drama about an American journalist sent to China to uncover the aftermath of 1937s Nanking Massacre and discovers atrocities continue. The film debuted May 17, 2012 at the Cannes Film Festival and was released on DVD in February 2013.

    In 2015 he ghost wrote the first 10 minutes of a small budget horror film called "SpiderGirl" for MagicElevator Productions.

    He also adapted a short story for writer/producer Mark Rupprecht called "Living for Sundays" who is presently trying to secure financing to hopefully begin filming in 2017.

    Mr. Timmins also wrote a treatment for author Eric Wiberg's upcoming WWII novel, "Drifting to the Duchess" in hopes the rights to the book are purchased for a film adaptation.

    Mr. Timmins is also shopping three original scripts;

    "Touch", a psychological thriller about a troubled, suicidal teenager who discovers the God she no longer believes in has given her a 'gift' she does not want; the ability to see a victims murder by holding their hand. Haunted by an event from her past that has made her lose her faith, she must decide whether or not to use this power to help local police stop a serial killer...or use it in another way. "Touch" is a powerful character study about faith and fate as the heroine must decide what is morally right and wrong, leading to a twist ending that will leave audiences debating her choice long after the movie has ended.

    "Hayride", is horror story about a Halloween Haunted Hayride that is real...

    "Cracks" is a psychological thriller about a teenager who hires a private investigator to help find her missing older sister after the teen receives an anonymous package containing $200,000.
