Donald Conley is an award-winning director and producer whose work revolves around hopeful coming-of-age journeys and the unyielding pursuit for justice. He is a 2020 Almanack Screenwriters Colony and 2022 Chicago Industry Exchange Lab fellow for his narrative feature script, Marathon.
Donald has produced documentaries that have been distributed by Netflix, PBS, and Max among others. Donald most recently produced Dallas, 2019, a 5-episode documentary series Executive Produced by ITVS for PBS. Donald is also the Associate Producer of Max's Atlas of the Heart with Brené Brown.
Donald's most recent directorial effort, About Time, premiered at the 60th Annual Chicago International Film Festival. As of 2024, Donald commenced production on his feature documentary about the 1970 Syracuse 8 boycott and its impact on college football.
